How much does a report cost?
$29 per report. No subscription; you only pay when you generate one.
How long does a report take?
A few minutes... really. The full result is computed before you pay, so the report is ready the moment your payment completes.
What exactly do I get?
A PDF case study report: the 50-year ground snow load in psf, the weather stations used, the elevation plots, and any trim decisions, following the ERDC/CRREL SR-20-1 method.
Do I pay before I see anything?
No. The workspace is free, and before checkout you get a free preview of the full case study: the map, every station used, and the elevation plots. Only the final snow load value is held back until you purchase the report.
Do I need an account?
Yes, but it's free. Sign up, confirm your email, and explore the workspace as much as you like; you pay nothing until you generate a report.
Can I get a receipt or invoice?
Yes. Lemon Squeezy emails one automatically after checkout.
Which areas do you cover?
The lower 48 states and Alaska. Canada is not covered yet.
I'm a homeowner, not an engineer. Can I still use it?
Yes. Homeowners can use it as reference information to discuss with a contractor, building official, or licensed professional. It does not replace professional review.
Where do I find my past reports?
In your History, while signed in. Purchased reports stay there permanently, and previews you haven't purchased yet wait there for 30 days (your 50 most recent), so you can come back and finish checkout later.
Can I change a report after I generate it?
No. A finished report is locked so it stays a documented record. If the inputs change, you run a new one.
Is this the same as an ASCE 7 ground snow load?
It depends on the edition. Our report estimates the 50-year ground snow load, the basis used by ASCE 7-16 and earlier codes, where map values in mountainous areas can be inaccurate or marked as requiring a case study. ASCE 7-22 switched to strength-level values that are numerically much higher by design; our report does not produce those, so under 7-22 it serves as reference information only.
Is the report a stamped engineering document?
No. It is software-generated reference data following the ERDC/CRREL SR-20-1 method, not a stamped or sealed engineering document. A licensed engineer applies their own judgment.
